    NoORM template listed

I have just installed NORMA - I have vs2008 Professional

I can open/edit  an existing orm file, but there is no Object Role Model template in Add New Item, General.

There are ORM toolboxes in the VS IDE and orm is listed in Tools, Options

Where might the orm template be installed so I can create a new one?

    Answer

    Hi Andy,

This sounds like the devenv /setup portion of the installation did not complete, or you did not install with administrative privileges.

To test the first problem, open the 'Visual Studio 2008 Command Prompt' (part of the Visual Studio installation) and run the command devenv /setup

If that doesn't work, then use the control panel to uninstall NORMA (Natural ORM Architect for Visual Studio 2008), then

    1. Expand the downloaded zip file
    2. Run SetupVista.bat, or right click Setup.bat and choose 'Run as Administrator'
