In all things, it is important to be able to distinguish correct reasoning from incorrect reasoning. Many reasoned arguments are expressed in natural language. Unfortunately, natural languages are vague and ambiguous so we need an alternative. The formal language called First-Order Logic(FOL) is the alternative that is taught in the free online course "Language, Proof and Logic"(LPL) run by Stanford University. This forum is provided for discussions about ORM and LPL.
