Hi,
  Rt clicking in ValueRange properties field offers option to "Open IME"; and if you click to do that, it offers to "Close IME."  Can't see that it does anything, and don't recall IME being mentioned before.  Is this an artifact of development work, a future feature or something that is useful now?  I.M.E.?  Incongruous Metadata Evaporator?  BRN..

An 'Input Method Editor' is a tool for composing characters from multiple keystrokes and is generally used when inputing characters from languages significantly more complex than English (think Japanese, Korean, etc). The availability of IME editing is dependent on your system settings.

The NORMA team has done nothing to explicitly add IME support for in-place edit controls. You're getting it either from core Windows or the DSLTools frameworks we're built on.

  Thanks for the explaination - I'll also keep that in mind (about some items in NORMA being artifacts of the non-NORMA base frameworks.  I'm guessing that sort of thing will show up more on a Rt click/context occurance.

Just to further clarify this, the additional options in the context menu come from having either "East Asian" or "Complex Script" languages support enabled in Windows. Pre-Vista (e.g. Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP) have these turned off by default (at least in the English versions), but Vista always has these features enabled permanently (in other words, they can't be turned off).
