IS there a way to set background color, text color, shape color, shape fill color etc.?

I have not found one. I would find setting object-color to be helpful - especially in a model where you wish to make the differences among icons pop out. It is possible to paste the image into PowerPoint and color the icons, however.
I just want to add to the chorus of those who wish to be able to color object type icons.
It would be nice to be able to automatically color all the object types belonging to one group, to a color selected for that group..
