    suppress data types from verbalization

I note it is possible to suppress the display of data types from the relational view.  Is it also possible to suppress the display of data types from the verbalization?  Data types is getting closer to implementation and a physical data model.  It has little place in a purely conceptual data model.  It is not something the business users need to see.

    Hi Gordon,

I must be misunderstanding what you mean by a "data type" here.
I can't see any data types in my verbalisation browser.

    Please will you clarify?

    Ken

You are right.  The data types do not show up in the verbalizer.  I think my students were mixing up reference mode with data type.
