    If you change the DataType on a value type from "Text: Variable Length" with a DataTypeLength specified e.g. "50" to "Raw Data: Picture" then in Relational View it will show varbinary(50) instead of varbinary. I assume this would be the same with other DataTypes and also with entity types also.

    I've attached a picture to make things clearer.

    Hi Tom,

    This is a bug in the relational display code. For the raw data types, length is not supported for Picture or Ole Object raw data types, but the relational display code was not ignoring the value for these two types.

    This will be fixed in the next NORMA release.
