Thanks for the explanation.

Matt is the ultimate arbiter in this matter but I'll give you my opinion to try to help you to move things along:

"Having local admin rights" is not the same thing as using the "Run as administrator" option.(select "setup.bat" and right click for the menu)

However, I recommend that before trying the "run as administrator" option that you "correct" your installation by following the procedure that Matt has described in the "read.me".

My previous machine was running Windows XP (local admin rights) with VS2010.

On this new machine I have local admin rights. Actions performed:

- Double click Setup Windows batchfile results in an installed Neumont Plix

- Dialogue "Welcome to the Natural ORM Architect for Visual Studio 2010 Setup Wizard" is displayed;

- Click "Next"

- Dialogue "Ready to install NORMA for VS2010" is displayed

- Click "Install"

- Dialogue "Installing NORMA for VS2010" is displayed

- Then the warning dialogue "This setup requires MS VS 2010. Please install MS VS 2010 and run this setup again" is displayed.

- Click "OK"

- Dialogue "Natutal ORM Architect for Visual Studio 2010 Setup Wizard ended prematurely" is displayed.

- Click "Finish"

Please provide more detail of the problem and error messages that you see.

I have been running NORMA under VS 2010 and 64 bit Win 7 Pro for a long time (and on two separate machines) so "the problem" is most likely to be something to do with your system setup or your installation procedure. For example, did you you use "run as adminstrator"? . There are more details in the read-me in the NORMA installation package.

Recently I'm running Windows 7 64bit with Visual Studio 2010. Setup of NORMA does not complete successfully while it doesn't see an installed version of VS2010. Please help.
