Hi,
I noticed that MS has released (about a month ago), version 4.0 of their VS 2005 SDK. Sounds like it has DSL tools support included. Will the availability of the SDK have any impact on the NORMA project tool development? I know mention was made of the NORMA team working toward providing a NORMA tool SDK; does this MS release fit in ...

Hi,
As MS Visual Studio 2005 Standard Edition is a minimal requirement for running current NORMA tool CTPs, this link should be of interest to those that don't yet have a copy:
http://www.microsoft.com/business/vb2005upgrade/default.mspx
This offer has nothing to do with me, my company or (as far as I know), the NORMA project team; I ...

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Not having worked with it myself, I based the comments about XAML on the information provided during a presentation on MS Workflow Foundation. The characterization of the markup language is as you described (as in it's use in WPF and the paper specification MS is putting up to compete with PDF).

Attended a MSDN event today, saw the central role it plays in several .Net framework 3.0 core foundation components. In the MS WF (Work Flow (foundation)), XAML can be both generated by, and used to generate declarative work flow model ...

That's a good idea. Maybe there could be an option in the Tools > Options page with choices like: CollapseToTooltip, ExpandToList, ShowFirstFiveValues, etc.

I've created a value constraint on an object with the following list of values (for a Status(Name) object):
{ 'Unassigned', 'Assigned', 'In Process', 'Waiting on Customer', 'Needs call Back', 'Waiting for Other Dept', 'Resolved', 'Service Not Provided', 'Not an Issue' }
This results in a long, one line list on the diagram. Does anyone know ...

Hi,
It's not the first time I had a problem getting the FactEditor to display in a NORMA TCP, but this time was Lu Lu. The answer was to RT Click in the diagram window and select the FactEditor from the context menu of window options. Why you have to do this to get the FactEditor, while all the other windows (Verbalization, Sample ...
