In the Feb CTP: 1. open a new winapp project 2. file>new>orm 3. View toolbox 4. Drag a value type to the ORM tab 5. observe that an entity type is instantiated, not a value type

Auto place and route is a well understood technology. Its primary use is in circuit board layout, electronic schematic layout and IC layout. Any simple package should handle ORM diagrams. Graphviz from ATT is another possiblilty although there is a minor license step to go through first. tedc

We are having the same kind of problems trying to produce proper subset or uniqueness constraints. Is there documentation about constraints and role order? Because we can't seem to get a grip on 'more-than-two-fact' constraints. Maybe it has something to do with 'Alethic' and 'Deontic' modality? Thanks.

Hi, Yes, for some reason they didn't put the documentation in the documentation tab, it's in the Download tab section. Click on Downloads, and you'll see a Documentation entry between the 2/6/2007 CTP and the 1/29/2006 CTP. That has the PPTs, and a pdf file on ORM2. BRN..

SVN has - Creating ORM Schemas - The Documentation tab has - Generating a Database Schema in NORMA - I don't see any powerpoints or a ''package'' Could you put all the docs (including Norma LAb1.ppt) in SVN? I'll take a look at them and make a pdf up. The docs shold have the CTP release # in the filename... Thanks. Tedc

Hi, Just checked, and it is installed in the Neumont Folder within the Program Files folder on your system (in the Help folder). Still, keep in mind that it's nearly a year old, and not all the content is still valid. BRN..

Hi, Did you check out the documentation bundle under the downloads section? That has a series of PowerPoint presentations that should help - These were updated BEFORE the last CTP release, though. You can also post any particular problems you are having. Some common dead-ends to avoid are: Wrong edition of VS; you need VS 2005, ...

Hi, I don't think that the document is in the last bundle. I'm pretty sure Tyler Young http://sourceforge.net/users/tynman/ was the author.
