  • ORM Lite source?

Hi. Where can I find the source for ORM Lite? All I see is Windows packages on the library section although the notes say it runs on Linux and MacOS as well. I thought I had found the source code repository on SourceForge, but it looks like that's a different project.

In this series of posts I will explain some important features of ORM Lite that help save time and effort in modeling projects. While wondering where to begin, I read with interest Tyler Young's account of his current ORM modeling project. He gave a good example of a common challenge for large re...

  • ORM Lite release v0.12h - completely redesigned user interface

Prior to this release, ORM Lite development has focused on the drawing canvas. We were able to successfully introduce a new, simpler approach for drawing ORM models. This is the first release that steps away from that narrow focus and addresses the total experience of learning to use a new tool. Everything...

  • Re: Orphaned object types, how would you find them in ORM Lite? An example script.

Good comments. I certainly agree that writing scripts is a step beyond reading them. You quite rightly point out that to write scripts, it is necessary to learn the scripting language. Fortunately the scripting language comes with a very good tutorial ( http://docs.python.org/tutorial/ ). Many experienced...

  • Orphaned object types, how would you find them in ORM Lite? An example script.

Recently Jim Ludden asked how he could find orphaned object types (object types in the model, but not in any diagram). He was asking about NORMA, but I thought it would be interesting to try to solve the same problem for ORM Lite by writing a script. The following is one possible solution. My guess is...

  • Re: Create a forum for sharing ideas about the new ORM LITE modeling tool

Hi Brian, I looked at your website. ORM Lite does seem to be an interesting ORM approach so I have created a section in the library for your tool. A Forum is possible but I suggest that you start any discussions in the "Other tools" section. If ORM Lite gets a reasonable number of posts, then...
