    Installation Error: NORMA_VS2005_2013-05CTP on Windows 7

    Setup does not see Visual Studio 2005 installed on my computer. I receive the error message: "This setup requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. Please install Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and run this setup again." Visual Studio 2005 Version 8.0.50727.867 (vsvista.050727-8600) Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0.50727 SP2 Windows 7 Professional Version 6.1 (Build 7601: Service Pack 1) I tried uninstalling PLiX and DSL ToolsRedist, then running Windows Updates. But I keep getting the same error message. Can you please point me in the right direction?

    You need a non-Express version of Visual Studio (Standard, Professional, or Enterprise for VS2005). You also need either the C# or VB language installed with Visual Studio. NORMA uses these project hosts for code generation.

    You should be able to find this information in the Help/About dialog of your Visual Studio install. The edition (Standard, Pro, etc.) will show near the top of the dialog, and the installed languages will be in the package list.

    Express editions do not support any third party plugins. This limitation has nothing to do with NORMA.
