    Norma VS2015 | Population violates uniqueness constraint

    Hi,

    I'd like to report what I think is a bug. I'm using VS2015 community and NORMA. I can't get the population of a fact type to violate the uniqueness constraint. Example;

     Two entity types (Flight.Nr and Airport.IATAcode) and one value type (Date) with an internal uniqueness contraint covering all roles. All of them have their data type set

     "[Flight] scheduled to depart on [Date] is bound for [Airport]"

    I have two identical records in the sample population (TO5135, AMS, 01-01-2019) but no error is displayed. I checked the error display setting for the diagram and everthing, including the "Population violates uniqueness constraint" is turned on.

    Best regards,

    Karl

     Hi Karl,

    Thanks for your bug report.

    I don't know of any plans to fix the bugs in NORMA for VS2015 and earlier.

    Since 2016, the NORMA plus project has focused on the following tasks:

    • Setting up a code management system in JIRA.
    • Creating a manageable list of bugs and feature requests. (initial list imported from SourceForge - then extended by Terry)
    • Validating the 43 reported bugs in the VS2015 version of NORMA
    • Updating NORMA to run with VS2017 (Done in April 2018)
    • Fixing bugs in the VS2017 version. (now down to 10 unresolved bugs)

    The NORMA Plus project depends on volunteers.
    If you would like to participate in the NORMA Plus project, please let me know.

    Ken
