The ORM Foundation

Dear Ken,

When I wanted to use the ORM Foundation statistics as an exercise in a FO class, I came across a problem.

I have assumed that one of the principles underlying the UFO is consistency.

When I was reading the forum statistics this morning, I read:

312 users have contributed to 83 threads.

Looking at Tools, Norma I verbalize:

Norma has so far resulted in 182 threads.

Please help me explain this seemingly inconsistency.

A have a similar problem with posts.

Yes, it is true. The forum statistics are not an accurate reflection of forum posts.
This problem appeared when we migrated the NORMA posts from Sourceforge to this website.

The SQL script that was used for the migration was successful in migrating all of the posts.
Unfortunately, the SQL script did not include the code needed to update the forum statistics.

I will ask Kevin if he can fix this.

I have fixed the problem with the stats,
You will now see that they are up to date.

One small point - The displayed stats are for the total site.
Thus, since some forums are not visible to all users, in some cases, what can b ecounted on the screen may be different from the numbers at the bottom of the screen.
