    Inconsistent 'Select on Diagram'

Lately I have seen that an Object type that appears on several pages of my model will have the required shadow, but when I right-click to find its occurence on other diagrams the 'Select on Diagram' option is not available. On these occasions 'Select on Diagram' is available from the ORM Model Browser.

    I run 2008-05CTP on VS2008

This happens when you drag a shape to a diagram in another window, which doesn't change the selection in the current window. All menu items are automatically refreshed on a selection change, but not when a new transaction is committed. This is one of a handful of issues with menu items not correctly updating after an initial action or undo/redo operation. It's a bug I need to fix.

If you don't see a menu item, click on the diagram, then back on the item to refresh the menus.

Fixed in changeset 1330. All commands are now refreshed when a transaction completes. Included with 2008-10 CTP drop.
