    Welcome.

The location of the dot display is a user setting. It is not stored with the model. To change the display position:

    1. Choose the Options... item on the Tools menu.
    2. Choose 'ORM Designer' from the left tree.
    3. In the 'Appearance' section of the grid, select the 'Mandatory Dot Placement' option
    4. Change it from 'RoleBoxEnd' to 'ObjectShapeEnd'
    5. While you're there, look around at some of the other options as well. Descriptions are at the bottom of the grid. The two options I routinely change are 'Delete Key Behavior', which I set to 'DeleteElement', and 'Show Description Tooltips', which I set to true.

NORMA also has display options that are not on this tab:

    • In the 'Environment/Fonts and Colors' section, the settings for 'Text Editor' have several 'ORM*' elements in the Display Items list. These affect the colors in the ORM Fact Editor tool window.
    • On the same tab, in the 'Show Settings For' dropdown, you will find an 'ORM Verbalizer' item that controls the display in the ORM Verbalizer tool window, and an 'ORM Designer ' item that controls a few colors in the designer itself.

Note that the designer settings will require a VS restart to take effect, but the fact editor and verbalizer settings should be applied immediately.
