Hello,

Is it possible in the latest version of NORMA for VS 2008 to specify a join path for an external uniqueness constraint? The below model produces the following error: "Constraint 'ExternalUniquenessConstraint1' in model 'ORMModel1' requires a join path". I would like to join along the "A rolls up to B" path, but I do not see an obvious way in the NORMA tool to specify the path.

Entering join paths requires the "Role Path Editor" which is only in NORMA Pro - not yet publicly available.

Clifford is correct in saying that this is an advanced feature. Join paths are automatically created for basic patterns, but the patterns for automatic generation are limited, so an editor is required. However, the open source tool will verbalize the join paths without the editor installed. Entering join paths is very similar to entering derivation rules, and is part of the pro toolset.

In this particular case, you would be able to enter a join path and have it verbalize correctly, but it would not yet map to an implementation.
