Dear Terry,

I'm attempting to create the secondary supertype for FeemaleManager on Leb_4 (slide 18).

As far as i understand, when I first define an object type as a subtype, the supertype is automatically defined as a primary supertype (full arrow line). When I go on to define the second supertype for the same object type, it should automatically be defined as secondary supertypes (dashed line).

The problem is that my second supertype is also connected by a full line arrow (i.e. it's a primary supertype). I fail to find a way to overcome this.

Apparently you are using an old version of Lab 4. We changed the way subtyping works so that now a solid arrow is always used if that path provides a way to the preferred identifier. I just sent Ken the latest version of Lab 4 which he should place soon in the library. This shows solid arrows, as you are experiencing.
