    Request for a DBMS forum

     I'd like a forum devoted to DBMS issues, for anyone who implements databases occasionally. For example, a nice discussion about materialized views. ;)

    Or is there a place already for this kind of discussions?

    Re: Request for a DBMS forum

    Yes - DBMS is a good suggestion and I can add a Forum (and a Library section) for this.

    However, before I do, it would be helpful if you could expand on the term "issues"

    Bear in mind that I try to keep the topics on this website to subjects that easily fit into the generic statement "Orm and Topic x"

    So, the simple response to your request is to add a forum called "ORM and DBMS" however after thinking about it, it seems that there are potential topics such as "ORM and the RDBMS" or "ORM and NoSql Databases" or ORM and MicrosftAccess" ...;

    It seems to me that "ORM and Materialised Views" is an interesting topic, but I wonder if you agree with me that such a topic would probably fit best as a thread in a "larger" topic".

    Any suggestions?
