Hi, When I set up NORMA, it asked Visual Sutdio 2005. However, I only have Express Edition. II would like to know NORMA supports Visual Studio Express or not. If it supported, is there any document for installation? If it didn't, would you release another one for Visaul Studio Express Edition? Thank you.

It is my understanding that in its current form, the NORMA tool will only function with at least MS Visual Studio 2005 Standard Edition. NORMA cannot work with any of the Express Editions because MS Visual Studio versions below 'Standard' don't include the functionality that the NORMA tool requires to operate.

Sorry about this, but the problem is caused by Microsoft's choice not to include the necessary functionality in Visual Studio Express Editions.
So if you want to use NORMA, then you will need Visual Studio 2005 Standard. 

I have not investigated it personally, but you may find the NORMA version for Visual Studio 2008 will work with Visual Studio 2008 Beta.
But remember, there are no guarantees, You will be trying "in develoment" software with an MS Beta!

Currently NORMA requires at least the standard version of VS2005 or VS2008. We are hoping that the free VS2008 shell will be extended with a module that would allow NORMA to run with that, but we are still waiting on a decision in this regard.

As far as I know, nORMa still requires VS Standard Edition or above.  I have installed and used the current nORMa CTP on a computer using an evaluation edition of VS 2008 Professional.  I can't tell you what would happen if you tried to reinstall the eval copy after the licence period expires.

You can also try an online search for legitimate, highly discounted, versions of VS 2005 Standard. If you are a student, the discounts are very significant.

Also note that an older ORM tool (VisioModeler), is available as a free download.  I bought and used that product, and it is still a useful aid to learning about ORM.
