Hi,
Is it possible to attach .orm files to messages in this forum? Is this something you would encourage or discourage? I see that there is a way to attach files in the feature request form, but that doesn't seem to be the right place. Would you prefer URL links to external sources, rather than sending the files here? BRN..

Hi,
Am I wrong or is there some ambiguity concerning the term ''Fact Type'' in the documentation and implementation of NORMA? From my old InfoModeler Guide to FORML, I take it that a Fact Type is a complete fact - Object, predicate, Object (for a binary fact). The NORMA documentation often seems to indicate only the predicate portion when ...

Hi Scott,
You're right, I did mean to say ORM Reading Editor, rather than ORM Fact Editor. Quite a few editors in NORMA. BRN..

Hi,
Maybe it's already in the works, but making it easier to add roles into ''New'' facts in the ORM Fact Editor would be helpful. Having to manualy place the cursor between {0} and {1}, and remembering to add spaces gets old fast. Also, is there a reason why {0) and {1} are used instead of the Object Type names that are already selected in ...

Hi,
Working through the ''Creating ORM Schemas'' Word document bundled with the NORMA material, I see that you are using Intellisense with some tools. Trying it with the ORM Fact Editor brings up a list of Object Types (with a CNTRL + Space key combo). This is helpful, but it look like it would be more helpful if Intellisense was used in more ...

Ok, we'll work with what works for now. BRN..

Thanks,
I was able to get the ring contraint in place and selected what I hope is the appropriate type. I'll need to a model with some known data to make sure that what I think I'm doing is what is being done. I'll work on a test model later (Perhaps something biblical - where the data and the rules for ''begetting'' are well established, and ...

In InfoModeler, I had a bit of a tough time figuring how, and how best to use ring constaints. I see ring contraints in the Toolbox, but I'm not at all sure I'm using the correct method of adding them to the model. This is even harder without being able to use sample data to suggest which ring contraint to use. Anyone worked out the correct way ...

Along the lines of the previous reply, a version of the PowerPoint tutorial aimed at InfoModeler users would be welcome. You know: ''Where in IM you did this, in NORMA you now do this.'' BRN..

It would be helpful if there was a way to import or recycle VisioModeler and InfoModeler models for use with NORMA and ORM 2. Even if only the objects types (along with thier properties), from an VM or IM model were available in a NORMA generated model, that would make reuse a lot easier. A perfect automated conversion of IM to NORMA would be ...
