I can't answer the question for everyone, but in my personal work I tend to introduce artificial identifiers almost immediately. When I'm modeling I like to make everything "work" as much as possible as it's being created. This behavior is HEAVILY influenced by NORMA, since it gives red error messages if your entity types ...

My guess is the DSL model tools made some significant changes that are breaking the code generation. Either that, or there's been a gopher infestation in the back yard. I might not be up to speed on the project any more, but I'm pretty handy with a .22! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help out.
